Under no circumstances are students ever permitted to bring any type of camera on a skydive. The Basic Safety Regulations (BSRs) mandated by the United States Parachute Association (USPA) prohibits anyone with less than 200 skydives to wear any camera gear. This is due to the additional hazards and complications that may occur on a skydive as a result of having a camera. An unsecured camera could potentially snag on gear causing damage or complication. You may purchase one of our video/photo packages so our professional tandem instructors can capture your amazing experience without any additional risks to you or them.
Yes! Our tandem instructors are trained and equipped with two hand-cam cameras - one for video and one for still photos. They video and take still photos of everyone they jump with and you can pay for this service before your jump, or you can wait and view your video/stills after your jump, and purchase them then.
WHAT IF I JUST WANT ONE PHOTO OF ME IN FREE FALL
You must still order the entire video or photo package so your tandem instructor can get paid for his extra training for taking photos in free fall.
Video for $75 per person - consists of pre-jump interview before loading plane, plane ride to altitude, exit of plane, free fall, parachute ride, landing, and post-jump interview - delivered to your email via a Dropbox link approximately 48 hours after your jump.**

Both Video and Photos for $125 per person - delivered to your email via a Dropbox link approximately 48 hours after your jump.**
** If you would like to take your video and/or photos home with you on a Skydive Grand Haven 4GB Flash/USB drive approximately 30 minutes after your jump, you may do so for only a $20 upgrade charge.
CAN THE PERSON I AM JUMPING WITH AND I BE ON THE SAME VIDEO
Every jumper will have over a quarter mile of separation from each other in free fall, so you will not be near each other, let alone be able to hold hands or talk to each other. Each tandem student must purchase his or her own video or photo package to receive any footage of his or her free fall. However, if only one student purchases a video or photo package, other students may be in the footage while on the ground before and after their jumps and in the airplane during the ride to altitude. We may even be able to catch them exiting the airplane and/or landing on the ground under their parachute. Just be sure to ask your instructor if it is a possibility. We can never guarantee anyone else being in your own video footage.
